Gandaria House is a residential project shaped by the challenges and opportunities of its sloping site. With significant changes in ground elevation, the design adopts a split-level layout to accommodate the different spaces while maintaining a comfortable and connected living environment.
Rather than treating the terrain as a limitation, the arrangement of floor levels becomes an integral part of the home’s spatial experience.

"Connected Living Environment"
The interior brings together Mid-Century influences and a contemporary approach, expressed through a restrained palette of materials and finishes.
Light maple tones extend across the cabinetry and ceiling, complemented by light grey marble flooring, charcoal accents, and teal green tiles. In the main living area, the high ceiling follows the roof’s slope, creating a generous sense of volume.
High-level windows introduce natural light, while tubular metal details add a subtle industrial character to the interior.
"An Open Communal Space"
The kitchen was designed to accommodate everyday activities within the available space. Initially envisioned with an island, the layout was adapted into an L-shaped kitchen, with a dining table positioned at the center to serve both as a place to gather and an additional preparation surface.
The kitchen was designed to accommodate everyday activities within the available space.
Open shelving replaces upper cabinetry, keeping the kitchen visually open while allowing the material palette to remain consistent throughout the space.
In the master bedroom, integrated furniture makes efficient use of the available floor area. The built-in arrangement combines the bed, overhead storage, bedside niches, a work or vanity area, and additional wardrobe storage into one continuous composition.
Alongside the bedroom’s direct access to the garden, these details bring together functionality, natural light, and everyday comfort. The result is a unique, contemporary home where each area has its own personality within a connected overall design.
